In most cases, this kind of environmental care is about small measures that do not involve a great deal of effort or sacrifice of amenity for any of us. It only takes simple and subtle actions.     WE CAN AFFORD TO DRINK WATER, BUT WE ARE MINDFUL OF OUR CONSUMPTION<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    PEOPLE USE AT LEAST 80 LITRES OF DRINKING WATER A DAY TO MAINTAIN A SUSTAINABLE QUALITY OF LIFE. IN SLOVENIA, WE CONSUME BETWEEN 130 AND 200 LITRES OF DRINKING WATER PER HOUSEHOLD MEMBER PER DAY. WE USE 2 TO 8 LITRES OF CLEAN DRINKING WATER TO FLUSH THE TOILET ALONE, AND THE AVERAGE SLOVENIAN HOUSEHOLD USES 6 LITRES OF DRINKING WATER PER DAY FOR COOKING.<\/p>\n

    WE ARE PROUD TO HOST YOU IN AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE THE WATER IS DRINKABLE! WE DRINK EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN AND HIGH QUALITY WATER IN SLOVENIA! JUST FILL UP YOUR WATER AND CHEERS! <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

    WE SORT WASTE IN ACCORDANCE WITH INSTRUCTIONS.<\/u><\/strong> WE ALWAYS DISPOSE OF WASTE IN CONSCIOUS CONTAINERS, NEVER INTO NATURE OR INTO THE WASTE DRAINS. WASTE DISPOSED IN THIS WAY POLLUTES THE UNDERGROUND WATER AND OTHER SOURCES OF DRINKING WATER.<\/p>\n

    REDUCING THE USE OF PLASTICS<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    Plastics are a BIG THREAT - to the environment and to people. IN 2017, SLOVENIA PRODUCED 987,151 TONNES OF MUNICIPAL WASTE, OR 478 KG OF MUNICIPAL WASTE PER CAPITA. EVERY YEAR, AN INDIVIDUAL IN SLOVENIA USES BETWEEN 100 AND 300 PLASTIC BAGS, WHICH ARE ONLY USED FOR A FEW MINUTES TO AN HOUR. AS THE WORLD PRODUCES MORE AND MORE PLASTIC, AND 6.4 MILLION TONS A YEAR ARE DISPOSED INTO THE ENVIRONMENT, THE PLASTIC PARTICLES AND SUBSTANCES THAT ENTER ANIMALS AND OUR BODIES HAVE A MAJOR IMPACT ON THE QUALITY OF OUR HEALTH.<\/p>\n

    OUR HOTEL HAS QUALITY INSULATION AND ENERGY SAVING WINDOWS. WE CLOSE THE DOORS AND WINDOWS.<\/u><\/strong> THIS PREVENTS SPACE HEATING IN THE SUMMER, SO THERE IS NO NEED FOR ADDITIONAL COOLING. THIS EFFECTIVELY REDUCES OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT.<\/p>\n
